We offer short-term intensive support to parents with a young child with a disability (including autism, developmental delay and other disabilities ), to assist them to address and manage specific behavioural issues and to support parents in their parenting role. The child must be under 9 years of age and have a perceived or diagnosed disability.

Our staff members support parents and carers in their parenting role and assist parents in promoting the health, development, safety and wellbeing of their children. This often involves supporting parents to manage children’s behaviour.

This service is provided by a consortium of members lead by The Samaritans Early Intervention Coordination Team (SEICT). Referrals must be made directly through the SEICT on 4903 1700. More information is available on the SEICT website http://www.samaritans.org.au/service/seict/
